Our original spots all have one thing in common–they tell a story.
As Yale University’s Peter Brooks points out: “Stories are stronger than logic, stronger than reason, stronger than bare fact[s]. Stories explain, justify, and inspire in a way that abstract reasoning just can’t do.”
We believe in stories. Or to be more precise, strategic storytelling. That’s the basis of all our work.
And we believe the most compelling, relatable and relevant stories come from our own lives. So we believe in self-disclosure. And in being honest.
We have met the consumer and they are us.
So Radio Ranch writers share what it’s like to not have a date for prom, shop with their mom in the chunky boy department, face cancer, hate swimsuit season, deal with aging parents, and learn to talk after your lips swell up when you eat raw celery.
It is this commitment to relationship, to recognizing and embracing the fact that we are all part of the human condition that has kept some of our clients around for 20 years!
All good relationships feature some key elements: chemistry, mutual understanding, empathy toward a common goal, and lots of fancy gifts of really nice jewelry. Okay, we snuck that in.
In short, what we’re talking about is: teamwork. That’s our philosophy. We help our clients help us to make them look good. If you can follow that logic, maybe you’d make a good client!
